Project overview

Fantech Bathroom Fan Selector, initiated by an idea from Alexey, Fantech's Marketing Director, has a primary aim to increase sales through precise product recommendations. Swaileap developed an app that not only filtered correct products, but also provided insightful analytics for Fantech management which gave an understanding of user needs and allowed to forecast the demand effectively.

Challanges and problems

Fantech, a subsidiary of Systemair Company, stands at the forefront of ventilation solutions, committed to enriching user experience through innovative digital platforms in the Home Appliances, Ventilation, and HVAC industry. Fantech sought a platform that would simplify the product selection process for users, ensuring they find the most suitable ventilation product without the complexities of manual selection. Fantech management also faced a challenge to forecast the demand and ultimately produce right products for the market needs.

Our solution

We developed a dynamic platform that intelligently narrows down product options based on user inputs. Key modules include dynamic forms and filters, product recommendation, purchase integration, PDF generation, sharing and support, and a custom admin panel.

Results

The Fantech Bathroom Fan Selector has streamlined the product selection process, offering installers a hassle-free experience to find a ventilation product for their needs. Fantech management got detail insights about users needs to undrstand their users better, forecast the demand, increase sales and plan production load.

Product registrations page

First step for the user is to flexibly choose bathroom parameters in a bathroom fan selection. Since each fan has a large number of parameters and attributes, we wanted to dynamically change filters based on the previous answers, therefore, user won’t see filters that are irrelevant after each step. The products are being filtered ‘on the go’, without sending a request to the server each time user chooses the answer. For higher convenience, we show user a progress bar, which is needed because user does not know how many filters can appear. After the product is finally chosen, ‘Show results’ button appears.

Product result page with a tailored solution

The result page shows the most efficient fan for the bathroom. User can see accessories, choose a distributor where he/she can buy the product, download the PDF brochure, share the link and edit parameters. For better convenience, we provide users the info abut their bathroom parameters, which could be changed in 1 click.

Convenient products managements

Admin can manage Fans, Products, Accessories info: upload images, create content, apply commercial conditions, etc.

We had to do it very natively and easy to use for non-technical users and this worked quite well.

Product detail

User can also see the product details (as well as accessory details), understand which certificates the product has and buy the product.

Fantech Managers can quite conveniently apply the certificates and other information all in one space, pretty similar to an e-commerce admin panel.

Custom admin panel

Admin can fully manage the project from a custom admin panel. First of all, Fantech managers would like to see calculation logs data with all filters that were chosen, which is a great source of row data and could be used later for further analysis. Calculation shows all calculation logs with the details about parameters, IP address and actions on the results page.

Insightfull statistics

Admin can see the detailed stats about the projects, applying needed filters to get an accurate result and being able to download an Excel report.

This page gave Fantech important insights on user preferences, their parameters and products needed. Ultimately, it was possible to forecast the demand for product lines and plan further marketing campaigns.

Stats detalisation

Admin can see detailed stats on which parameters are the most chosen by users, analyse their audience better and make better business decisions.

Calculation shows all calculation logs with the details about parameters, IP address and actions on the results page.
